ENGR 171/Art 171: Intro to STEAM. Fall 2018-Fall 2020
A survey of UNCA’s STEAM Studio, Intro to STEAM class teaches students how to use CAD, hand tools, CNC and manual machines in the design and fabrication of a metals project and a wood project. Emphasis is placed on shop and machine safety, material literacy, and assembly/fastening techniques.
